Moving South Africa's Energy
Coal Transport · 34-Ton Side-Tipper Fleet · Eskom Supply Chain
Request a HaulVacopi Logistics is the trading name of Vurheni Business Group (Pty) Ltd — a privately held coal logistics operator established in 2021. We move bulk coal from Mpumalanga mines to Eskom power stations including Kriel, Arnot, Kendal, and Emalahleni, running a dedicated fleet of 34-ton horse-and-trailer side-tippers.
The company was founded by Vongani Boreni, a procurement and contracts professional with over 15 years of public sector experience. He built Vacopi from a single truck purchased with his own savings — today, the fleet supports more than 20 livelihoods and a growing network of investors, operators, and communities.
"Making a meaningful difference in other people's lives is not just what we do — it is why we exist."
We operate exclusively with private sector partners, transporting high-value bulk commodities where delivery accuracy and cargo integrity are non-negotiable.
We specialise in transporting coal from Mpumalanga mining operations to Eskom generation stations. Our side-tipper fleet is purpose-built for this route — reliable, efficient, and operated by experienced drivers who know every kilometre.
Beyond coal, our fleet is configured for chrome, platinum ore, grain, and maize logistics. We work exclusively with private companies and mine operators, providing dedicated haul capacity with a fleet tracked and managed in-house.
Breakdowns cost everyone. Our fleet is maintained proactively, with a dedicated operations team managing scheduling, compliance, and driver welfare. Your cargo moves — on time, to the right destination, intact.
White, branded, and maintained. Our fleet carries the Vurheni Business Group identity on every road from Mpumalanga to the power stations.
Vacopi's operational footprint covers Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Limpopo, and North West Province — with specialised configurations for liquid bulk haulage and a dedicated on-road support team keeping the fleet moving.
Alongside the side-tipper fleet, Vacopi operates a dedicated road tanker configuration for diesel and liquid bulk haulage. The MAN TGS 26.440 coupled to a stainless-steel tanker is purpose-built for fuel-grade cargo — maintained and operated to the same standard as every vehicle in the VBG fleet.
Downtime is not an option. VBG 002 — our dedicated support vehicle — deploys across all active routes to keep the fleet operational between runs. From Mpumalanga to North West Province, the Vacopi maintenance team ensures no driver is stranded and no haul is delayed.
In bulk logistics, reputation is built one delivery at a time. These are the commitments that govern how Vacopi operates — with partners, drivers, clients, and the communities around us.
We deliver what we load. Expensive material goes to the right destination, in full, verified every trip. No substitutions, no short-drops.
Breakdowns are a logistics failure, not an excuse. We invest in preventative maintenance so our trucks are ready before yours need to move.
Our 20+ drivers and operators are not contractors — they are the business. Safe working conditions, fair treatment, and real employment are standard practice.
We operate exclusively with private companies. No CSD dependency, no tender cycles — just direct relationships built on performance and trust.
If something goes wrong, we answer for it. Transparent communication and direct ownership of every load, every route, every outcome.
Vacopi is more than a logistics operation. Founder Vongani Boreni grew up in Maphophe Village in Collins Chabane Municipality, Limpopo — and has not forgotten where he came from.
In 2024 he established the Dzudzani Development Trust Fund, a community initiative providing clean water infrastructure, support for families in bereavement, land for employment creation, and bursaries for matriculants. The business is the engine. The community is the purpose.
Whether you operate a mine, a farm, or a processing facility — tell us what you need to move and we will tell you how we can help.
